Immigration Services

The Immigration Program provides assistance to legal indigent and low income immigrants in need of immigration counseling. This includes help with preparation of a variety of petitions, including applications for citizenship. Doing so we help to reunite families and empower individuals placing them on a path of self-sufficiency and success.

Catholic Charities is recognized, and several staff are accredited by the U.S. Department of Justice. We are affiliated with the Catholic Legal Immigration Network (CLINIC), an organization established by the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB)/Migration and Refugee Services (MRS).

Some of our services include:

  • Consultations about immigration legal matters.
  • Referrals to immigration attorneys and other organizations in cases out of our scope of services.
  • Assist in the preparation of family petitions, legal residency, (Green Cards) and Immigrant Visas.
  • Assist in the preparation of applications for temporary benefits like Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA), Temporary Protected Status (TPS), Parole in Place and the employment authorizations associated with those benefits.
  • Assist in the preparation of applications for Naturalization and others regarding citizenship.
