Food Pantry
Our food pantry provides a 2–3 day supply of food to individuals and families in our community in need. Guests are required to provide an ID for the head of the household and verify the residency of all household members.
Food Pantry hours of operation:

St. Elizabeth Center is a member of the Northern Illinois Food Bank. We also rely heavily on donations of food items. Food donations are accepted daily from 8:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.
Soup Kitchen
Soup Kitchen open through May 20, 2025. Will reopen September 9, 2025.

Clothing Closet
Clothing, shoes, and coats are provided to those in need at no cost. Shoppers are allowed to shop twice per month.

We accept men’s, women’s, and children’s clothing all year long. We also accept shoes and winter coats.
Donations are accepted: Monday through Thursday 9:00 AM -4:00 PM.
Household Items
Donated household items are provided to those in need at no cost.
Shoppers are welcome to shop by appointment only. Shoppers are allowed to come once every three months. Please call 815-965-6993 to schedule a shopping appointment.
We accept donated new and used household items such as dishes, linens, pots and pans, and decorative items to make a house a home.
